HOT SPRING TOUR
"It was super fun!" My kids' comments summed it all.
Matteo was a wonderful guide, and had very good knowledge of Tuscany. We had a private day tour tailored for our family. We all enjoyed our natural hot spring bath in Bagni San Filippo. The calcified formation of the water fall was amazingly beautiful, and the water was refreshingly hot and healing. Our kids had so much fun climbing and exploring the different pools. After the hot bath, Matteo drove us to a winery in Montalcino where we were treated to aperitivo paired with different grade of amazing wine. In the process, we learned about wine making. The tour ended with a trip to Montepulciano, a medieval town on top of a hill in Tuscany. The view from the top was spectacular ! Our only wish was that we had a little bit more time in these places, especially the hot spring. Thank you Matteo for a wonderful tour!
Experience unadulterated bliss as you enjoy a unique visit to one of the world's most exclusive thermal hot springs

The hot spring at San Filippo in the Tuscan countryside is truly beautiful. The calciferous formations, waterfalls, and small pools of thermal water surrounded by the woods just outside the small town of Bagni San Filippo in the Val d'Orcia will seem to take you to another world.
There is an easy path that runs along the river and provides easy access to the thermal spring. The first natural pools you find along the path near the road are shallow and therefore do not maintain their heat for long, but if you follow the path further into the woods, you reach the massive formation of calcium and waterfall that has earned the nickname of the "White Whale".
Here, the hot pool of the springs meets the cold water of the river, giving the water a white-blue color that contrasts deeply with the green woods, creating a fascinating setting.
Keep walking further and you'll reach the rest of the pools that form the full Fosso Bianco right by the paid spa resort.
Indulge in a spa treatment including thermal baths, a mud bath, and various kinds of aerosol inhalation to open up your lungs. The thermal spa offers various treatments for your face and body and a line of beauty products.
The swimming pool with a waterfall rich in sulphur, calcium, and magnesium has a lovely temperature of 40 degrees. Terme San Filippo offers spa services in the large park with steaming hot water canals and the lush rolling hills of Val D'Orcia.
The area has countless thermal pools for you to sit in, relax, and take in the impressive calcium formations of San Filippo.
