Arrivals in the airport and meeting with turistic guide, ta a GT bus and transfert to palermo to accommodation in hotel for fast refresh and starting to explore the culture and Sicilian kitchen. The itinerary starting with a visit in the Capo Market, the oldest market in Palermo, where you see and taste the famous street food: panelle, arancine, crocchette and pani ca meusa. You admire the little and colour shacks that characterize the richness of fruits, fishes and meet and the personsellers scream to take your attention. After that you’ll visit Palermo that it extends along beautifull tirrenian bay. Founded to the fenicians on 7° and 8° century AC, it was conquered to the Arabics on 831 and there started a great prosperity period. You will be enchanted to the wide boulevards of the city, to the historical center and to the baroque builds... you will visit the main attractions of the city like Norman section, Quattro canti(the four corners in the city), baroque square of Cathedral. Return in hotel to dinner and night.
2° day: Monreale , Erice e Segesta
Breakfast and departure to Monreale. Visit the imposing Arab-Norman cathedral (famous for the rich Byzantine mosaics that decorate the inside) and its beautiful cloister, masterpieces of art, sculpture and inlay. Continue to Erice, a town situated at about 1000 meters high, with a view of the archipelago of the Egadi islands. Lunch. In the afternoon we will continue with the visit of Segesta one of the most beautiful places in Sicily located on Mount Barbaro, the top 400 meters above sea level, founded by the Elimi. The fame of Segesta is undoubtedly linked above all to the famous Doric temple, and, on the highest peak of Mount Barbaro, there is a north-oriented theater, in the direction of the Gulf of Castellammare or Mazara. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
3 ° day: Mozia, Cantina Florio, Sambuca Di Sicilia
After breakfast at the hotel departure to Marsala, where we will visit the island of Mozia. Then visit the Florio winery, a warm place, rich in mineral soil, sea-kissed breezes, and where Marsala wine was produced for almost two centuries wine tasting with lunch in the cellar.
After lunch continue to Sambuca di Sicilia, a typical Sicilian village that in 2016 was voted the most beautiful Borgo of Italy "THE VILLAGE OF VILLAGES". In this wonderful destination you can enjoy its historic center with its beautiful walk; the Carmine church built in 1530 but in fact you'll notice that instead demonstrates a strong fourteenth-century style to get there you have to climb atop a picturesque uphill road between two majestic palm trees. After the visit of Sambuca di S. proceed to Agrigento, arrival in the evening, accommodation in hotel and dinner.
4°day: Agrigento/Borgo di Sant’Angelo Muxaro/Valle dei Templi
After breakfast we will travel to reach the hinterland of Agrigento where on the hill in the center of the Platani River it was born little village call Sant’Angelo Muxaro(old Kamikos, famous for Dedalo and Minosse mitos). Our guide will then take us to a bakery to taste biscuits and home made cookies; then we will visit a shepard’s house to taste soft pecorino cheese and ricotta cheese, still warm. This walking itinerary really takes us far from the classic tourist routes. Here you will meet the local guide thet he shows you the historycal city center and he will support you in the visit of the archeologichal museum, and old bakery( where you cale at thet ipycal food: sfincione, sicilian pizza with pecorino, olive olil, anchovies, onion and oregan). Family lunch in a tipycal court. After lunch you will come to Agrigento where with a guide you’ll visit the beautifull Temples Valley, Unesco World Heritage,from a wide expanse of almond trees(already in flowers in February)stand the rests of the old Akragas,defined from Pindato “the best city of mortal”. Here you can admire Giunone Temple, Concordia Temple and Ercole and Zeus Temples.in the evening dinner and accommodation in Hotel.
5°day : Cooking Class - Park Cultural Farm / Catania
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Favara. This experience has guests spending a morning at the Farm Cultural Park of Favara (Agrigento). The British travel blog, Purple Travel has placed Favara and Farm Cultural Park at sixth in the world as a tourist destination for lovers of contemporary art, preceded by Florence, Paris, Bilbao, the Greek Islands and New York. Program : Gosicily welcome drink, fresh homemade lemonade served with typical Sicilian snacks;
Cooking course lasting about three hours, using fresh, local organic produce; guests will receive instructional hands-on lessons in the preparation of three traditional Sicilian dishes;
Tour of the art gallery and courtyards (the gardens, current exhibits, museum shop, etc.);
Lunch consisting of the dishes prepared during the course, served in the museum’s “black space” or “n’zemmula” with locally made wine and seasonal fruit.

6°day: Etna Tour e visit Winery / Taormina
Breakfast in Hotel and tranfer to Etna Mountain, the biggest active volcano in Europe, It is one of the main attraction in Sicily.Beautiful and famout not only for volcani phenomena, but as well for the breathtaking view and the different kind of flora and fauna that you can find there. During the climb,in maximum security, you can admire the principals point of the pass eruptions discovering the traditional smells and falvours that it born on the sclopes. At the end of the Etna tours we will visit the winery where born a particolar kind of wine thanks to temperature and special volcanic soils, where it grows a particular type of grape.At the maximum height where the temperature have a great buzz among the day and night permit a phenol and aromatic maturation that it is essensial for the colour and flavourof the red grapes and for the aroma in white wines. In the afternoom visit to Taormina Meeting with the guide and visit of Taormina. The historic town was founded by the Sicilians in 1300 to C. Later it was used by the Greeks and Romans. Here we visit the greek-Roman amphitheater, Taormina's Cathedral, the Piccolo Teatro Odeon, the Corvaia Palace and we can take a walk on the Corso Umberto. The guided tour will last about 2-3 hours. Breakfast in Hotel and Dearture to Siracusa. Visit of Archeological Park of the Neapolis (Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheater, Latomie and Dionisio’s ear). Visit to the historycal center of Ortigia where you will be encanthed to the amazing Barocal Cathedral and its square that it was Greek Temple in Doric Style. Following, along the little street of the centre you could see th famous Aretusa mountain, in front of the Big Port.Lunch in restaurant and departure to the close Noto, Barocco Capital in Sicily and UNESCO Heritage. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
All tours, travel arrangements and accommodations are secure from the time of confirmation of booking. Consequently a cancellation fee will apply on all cancellations.
If you cancel your tour reservation for any reason, your first deposit of 25% is non-refundable. If you cancel 90 days before tour starting date: 75% of your total tour cost is refundable. If you cancel between 90 days and 60 days before tour starting date: 50% of your total tour cost is refundable for physician documented emergency medical reasons or for police documented cases of accident, flood, fire, or crime. Cancellations less than 30 days from the tour start date, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the tour cost will apply.
We do not provide refunds for: non-medical personal problems; air carrier delays or cancellations; inability to obtain passports; business problems or emergencies; etc.
In the unlikely event or if the tour fails to fill with the necessary minimum number of participants required (2 people), you would be entitled to a 100% refund in full.
Prices and tariffs quoted for the tours are subject to change without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as significant currency fluctuations.
You are required to purchase your own travel insurance to cover cancellation coverage, airline tickets, trip delay, lost luggage or any potential medical expenses, personal accident and sickness, emergency repatriation and personal liability. It is advisable to take specific cover for ambulance through the respective State ambulance providers or through their own private health insurance.
Please note that travellers on Tuscany Untouched tours must have comprehensive travel insurance. We will require evidence including policy number, insurers name and emergency contact number before we finalise your booking.
You are allowed one suitcase and one carry-on bag. If you exceed this limit there may not be space in the vehicle to transport your excess luggage and it will be at your own expense to have it transported. We suggest that you bring a day pack for carrying water, guide books, jacket, rain gear, etc.
Most medieval towns were built as hilltop fortifications, so you will find some challenging climbs. There is a lot of walking on our tours and you will spend a lot of time on your feet while sightseeing. Age is not important as long as you are physically fit and a strong walker. Our tours are not suited for anyone who has problems with knees, back, heart or obesity.
Single travellers are provided a private apartment. The additional single supplement cost will apply.
Our recommended tours and dates, as listed on our web site, are guaranteed once a booking is confirmed. Your additional expenses will be for non-included meals, moderate tipping where appropriate, and personal sightseeing or shopping.LIMIT OF LIABILITY:
No responsibility is accepted for any loss, expense, accident, injury, or damage to any person or property due to the actions or omissions of any person, or any cause, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, defects in machinery, breakdown of equipment, weather, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond our control, such losses being the responsibility of the guest.
MEMBERSHIP ON TOUR:
Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd reserves the right to accept, reject, or not retain any person as a tour participant whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or, in the opinion of the tour manager, affects the rights and enjoyment of other guests. A guest not retained on tour shall have no cause for complaint or refund, and shall bear any and all extra expenses that ensue.
All information on this website is, to the best of our knowledge, correct. However, we reserve the right to make changes in accommodations, visits, and itineraries at any time should it become necessary or desirable. Delays or itinerary changes caused by strikes, bad weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control and we are not obliged to pay guests compensation.

Should Tuscany Untouched PTY LTD deem it advisable to amend an itinerary for any reason, it may do so by shortening, varying or re-routing any trip. These changes are binding and additional expenses will be charged to you if the reason for any alteration is outside Tuscany Untouched’ control.
While travelling with Tuscany Untouched you agree to accept the authority of the leader at all times. You are aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. You understand that Tuscany Untouched reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time. To the best of Tuscany Untouched’s knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are contracted to perform. However Tuscany Untouched will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the behaviour of these third parties. Tuscany Untouched will not accept responsibility or liability for any traveller who contravenes any law or regulation of any country visited. No employee, servant or agent of Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd has authority to vary these conditions.
CONFIRMATION BOOKING FORM
All Tuscany Untouched travellers on group trips must sign a Booking Form. Please note that signing the form is a pre-requisite of travelling with Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd. The wording of this form follows.
“I understand that touring with Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd may involve risks (and rewards) above and beyond those encountered on a more conventional holiday, and that I am undertaking a physical trip with inherent dangers. I understand that I am travelling to geographical areas where, amongst other things, the standard of accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene, cleanliness, medical facilities, telecommunications and infrastructure development may not be of the standard I am used to at home or would find on a conventional holiday. I have read and understood the Tuscany Untouched tour notes for the trip I am undertaking and have provided details of any pre-existing medical conditions I have to Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd representatives. I accept these risks and obligations and I fully assume the risks of travel. I release Tuscany Untouched Pty Ltd from any liabilities connected to these risks to the maximum extent permitted by law.”
