Saturday: Pick up at Figline Valdarno Station

On day one of the tour, your local guide will collect you from the main entrance of the Central Station of Figline Valdarno before whisking you away to your new Tuscan home, a stunning private apartment in a local Tuscan farmhouse. As farmhouse, it is surrendered of a lots of green. It has a farm as well with many animals and of course a big swimming pool, a restaurant for dinners and breakfast, a laundry and wi.fi. The farmhouse has 12 individual apartments. it used to be a tiny village. All guests will stay on the same farmhouse property but they will be in the own private accommodation with their own facilities.
Sunday: The Casentino Valley
Casentino Valley ----> Poppi Castle ---> Saint Francis' Monastery
The Casentino Valley is a historical region that offers you a chance to experience the soul of Tuscany. Our guide will take you off the beaten track to explore some of the region’s hidden gems as we visit the majestic villages and castles of the Roman period. This tour will give you a unique opportunity to experience the spiritual side of Tuscany that so many tours completely overlook. Be prepared for an exceptional morning of awe-inspiring moments.
Having explored the Casentino Valley in depth, we will stop off for a delicious lunch in Poppi, an exquisite medieval village that is somewhat of a hidden gem in this area of Tuscany. Poppi is a village that has many tales to tell, and you will get an unrivaled opportunity to uncover some fascinating secrets. The day will end with a visit to the ancient monastery of Saint Francis of Assisi before you sample the fare at what is widely regarded as one of the best pizzerias in the area.
MONDAY: Soak up Tuscany with wine
Montalcino ----> Montepulciano--->
Today’s tour will give you an opportunity to sample some of the area’s famous delights. We’ll start with a visit to Montalcino, where one of the world’s best red wines, Brunello di Montalcino, is produced. We’ll introduce you to the winemakers and give you a chance to taste their wares at one of the area’s most esteemed vineyards.
Having learned more about Brunello di Montalcino, we’ll progress to Montepulciano, a stunning medieval Tuscan village that is steeped in history. We’ll visit the city walls, where you will get a chance to watch the local artisan tradespeople at work as they use traditional methods to create copper goods in their workshops. We’ll also have an opportunity to visit some of the area’s wine shops, enoteche, as they are referred to locally.
We’ll finish the day having dinner in a local Trattoria or at the accommodation.
Tuesday: Cooking class and local villages festivals "sagre"

On the third day of our tour, you can choose between relaxing at the farm or we will take you to the train station from where you can travel to Florence by train. In the evening you can enjoying a cooking class with our local chef, with whom you will prepare dinner. From June to September we will be joining the local villagers as they enjoy their vibrant summer festivals
Wednesday: The Chianti Region

This is most certainly a day for wine enthusiasts! Today we will get an opportunity to visit the Chianti region of Tuscany, where you’ll tour some of the area’s most notable castles and vineyards and learn the deepest secrets of Chianti’s renowned wines. Our tour will also include a visit to an extra virgin olive producer, where you’ll have a chance to learn more about Tuscany’s olive groves and artisan oils.
Having sampled some of Chianti’s famous fare, we will head off to Greve to visit Tuscany’s most renowned butchery and deli. Once you have had the chance to stock up on the area’s high-quality produce, we’ll stop off at a local family-run trattoria, where you will be treated to a delicious Tuscan meal.
Thursday: La Maremma Toscana

Today, we will venture into the heart of the Tuscan countryside to enjoy some of its extraordinary landscapes.
We will visit one of the most prestigious winery designed by Renzo Piano, the most famous architect in the world. Here you can have a chance to learn more about the connection between the Etruscan population and history of wine in a modern engineering jewel winery. After a visit of the cellar and a light lunch, we will then progress to one of the nicest beaches in Tuscany, which is located near Castiglione della Pescaia, a wonderful medieval castle that is famous for its delightful views, delicious restaurants and vibrant nightlife. From there, you can experience a day at the beach where you will be able to walk among the locals, enjoy an Italian aperitivo, and enjoy a fantastic dinner at one of the fanciest Italian “corso” (street).
Friday: The Pratomagno mountain

Today, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to witness the mesmerizing splendor of the Pratomagno, one of Tuscany’s most interesting attractions and the place that saw the end of Australian explorer Herbert John Louis Hinkler’s attempts to fly from England to Australia. The day’s activities will commence with a trip to Loro Ciuffenna, a picturesque village and home to Gropina’s Roman church, a simply beautiful building that will hypnotize you. We will then stop off at some of the small medieval villages that are scattered throughout the mountainous landscape, taking every opportunity to sample the local produce on offer. We’ll end the day at the summit of Pratomagno, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Tuscany before the last dinner of the tour.
Saturday: Drop off at Figline Val D'arno Station
